Daily reports are generated at midnight and delivered to email addresses and/or notified via Slack channels. Report contents are built using Rules which define a query against data (AccessPoints, Events, Clients, etc).
Results are in CSV or JSON formats for use in additional tools.
Some example rules:
- List of Trust Policy Violations
- List of High Risk Clients
- Access Points matching an ESSID that are not in Guest AP Trust Level
- Events with a severity level greater than 7
From the left navigation menu, open the Daily Reports section
Viewing Results
Results can be downloaded at the View Results page.
Reports are stored for up to 30 days.
Configuring Reports
Select Configure and a new page is loaded showing the currently configured Daily Reports:
Selecting the + button brings up the Create Rule Report dialog:
From this dialog enter:
- Report Name: A name to describe the report
- Timezone: Select a timezone to run the report at midnight
- Rule to Match: Select a rule to execute
- File Attachment Type: The format of the results, CSV or JSON
- Notifier: Select or create the result notification and delivery method. Multiples are available.
Email Delivery
At midnight your reports are executed and delivered to your defined notification destinations.
Emails will have the results in an attachment:
