During WiFI Performance tests the 802 Secure AirShield connects as a client to user-defined networks to perform Internet-based performance/speed tests. This testing can help identify times and locations of poor user performance and experience.
AirShield supports the following methods of 802.11 authentication:
- Open / None
- WEP 40 / WEP 104
- WPA/WPA2 Pre-Shared Key
Future updates will add support for 802.1X username/password and X.509 client certificates.
WiFI Performance testing is found under the WiFi menu @ https://console.802secure.net/wifi/performance
